Maya Dagan is one of the most powerful and influential content creators in Israel. We are not talking about the acclaimed actress and comedian, but about a 26-year-old girl from Givatayim, the daughter of academic parents, who during 2020 broke into consciousness through the Tiktok platform, where she has tens of millions of likes and hundreds of thousands of followers.
Befitting a daughter of academics, Maya also began higher studies (which she left after two years), but at the same time began her romance with the world of media and entertainment.
During 2020, during the Corona epidemic and the various lockdowns, Maya discovered TikTok, and started uploading content to the platform – which immediately went viral.
Maya’s content mainly dealt with her opinion on topical issues, without filters, including feminism, politics, culture, and of course the topic of body image and shenophobia, which are particularly identified with her, due to her being a full-figured girl who is not ashamed of her size.

At first, Maya combined her activities on the various social platforms together with her work in high-tech, but with the success came the big commercial campaigns and the decision to focus on activity and content creation on social networks.
